WORLD MALAYALEE COUNCIL (WMC)- GLOBAL ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION PROJECT COMPETITION AWARD – 2017

The only global networking organization of Malayalis known as World Malayalee Council (WMC) has joined hands for Socio Economic Development of our mother land – Kerala.
All of us are aware that our society is confronting with the crucial problem of environmental degradation – a great challenge to very existence of our mankind. Though the concept of environmental protection; its conservation and preservation have already been incorporated in our curriculum vitae, in our practical life how the multi-dimensional issues of environmental protection have been resolved is a matter which require an anxious consideration, giving more thrust to our youths.
In the field of scientific disposal of both solid and liquid waste, water conservation and preservation, protection of rivers back waters, and water bodies, to encourage organic farming etc. are the major issues and challenges which require comprehensive solution by adopting latest scientific and technological innovations now available all over the world.
Taking note of this great challenge the WMC – Global Environment Council has formulated a global competition for promoting Environment Protection Projects under the name and title ‘Protect the Mother Nature’. As its first initiative, we are inviting various projects from institutions, organizations, NGO’s and also among individuals for their presentation of their respective innovative projects.
We are also fully aware that the media both print and electronic are also playing a vital role in the field of protection of environment by educating and sensitizing the public and hence the best media presentation for the promotion and protection of environment is also included in the competition.

The competition is grouped as five categories: –
I. Best project from institutions / organizations/
NGO’s and individuals among the public
1st prize:Rs. 1,00,000/-, 2nd prize :Rs. 75,000/-, 3rd prize: Rs. 50,000/-

II. Students from post graduate/graduate level
1st prize:Rs. 1,00,000/-, 2nd prize :Rs. 75,000/-, 3rd prize: Rs. 50,000/-

III. Students from schools both High School/
Upper Primary and primary level
1st prize:Rs. 1,00,000/-, 2nd prize :Rs. 75,000/-, 3rd prize: Rs. 50,000/-

IV. For the best promotional project presentation
In Visual Media
1st prize:Rs. 1,00,000/-, 2nd prize :Rs. 75,000/-, 3rd prize: Rs. 50,000/-

V. For the best promotional project presentation
In Print Media
1st prize:Rs. 1,00,000/-, 2nd prize :Rs. 75,000/-, 3rd prize: Rs. 50,000/-
