The DFW DALLAS PROVINCE celebrated 70th independence day at India Garden. Vice Chair Person Sherly Nirackal presided the meeting and delivered the welcome speech. WMC America Region President P.C. Mathew inaugurated the function. PC stated that “Indians, especially malayalees are great people and always enjoy the freedom of India though they are around the world. At this moment we remember the leaders who have sacrificed their lives for the freedom of India, especially Mahatma Gandhi who is the father of India. WMC join all the pravasi Indians during this time in commemorating the independence of greater India.” Frixmon Michael WMC Business Forum President who replaced Raju Varghese, Benny John Business forum coordinator, Rajan Mathew, Business forum Secretary and many other leaders spoke in the event. Sunny Maliakkal one of the leading business man handed over his biography book to P.C. Mathew during the function. Charly Varanath a member of WMC and a professional singer sang Vandematharam and children participated in other programs. The meeting adjourned with a decision to celebrate Onam on September 1, 2017 and a health forum event on September 23rd. Secretary Varghese Kayyalakkakam expressed vote of thanks to the audience.
